Dario Scardapane, myself, Sean Bean and Yara Martinez drinking ourselves into
a workday stupor! This is from FACELESS, a pilot that a handful of putzes at Fox
torpedoed. Brilliant move guys...how's that fall slate working out for you? Not a single
new show in the Top 50? Wow.

Alright, no more bitterness in the new year! That's my resolution!

You kids go out there and have a blast tonight! Watch your beverage consumption
and for the love of God, bring some of your square, prudish new-born friends
along to the party. The ones who can resist the devil's nectar and reject satan's
advances through distilled spirits to drive you home safely. We all need those
irritating, grating assholes once in awhile and on a night like this, the qualities
you normally want to strangle out of them (self-righteous, overly virtuous,
constantly pimping the word of Christ) you will stand up and extol, once
you shake off that wartorn hangover you're going to be wearing tomorrow
morning!

Mr Carnahan,

You kick so much ass, it's quite unbelievable. I loved Narc and I have been the biggest proponent of Smokin' Aces since the day I found out you were doing it. I've been spreading the word and the trailers like a virus amongst the people I know, and I'm glad I finally found your blog because I've been dying for more info on the film. I think you're easily one of the most cine-literate and refreshingly original directors out there, and I'm sure this film will blow our wigs back, no question. I hope you're having a fantastic New Year's Eve and as an aspiring writer/ director who uses your work as a guideline for aspiration, Godspeed. If you have any advice for people like me regarding film school or just getting my foot in the door, I'd appreciate it.

TL;DR: You fucking rock the shit.

Hey Joe,
I picked up Narc not knowing you wrote and directed it. After I saw and loved it I checked out the making of. Holy Shit! Then it hit me. I was at your 30th birthday party in Fairfield. I was the idiot who got in your son's Batman suit, ran out and of course yelled "I'm Batman", then fell on my ass. I only remember bits and pieces like jumping in the pool and I had to come back the next morning to get my shoes. You were super nice and we talked about art, movies, etc. Man you know how to throw a party. Thanks for the memories. Even if they are hazy.

I'm really looking forward to Smokin' Aces!!

It's new year here in Poland, I just back from my party, which suck btw.. oh well champaigne was good hyhy
I wanna wish you best in 2007! Good health, many great movies in the future and much love I don't have to say Smokin' Aces is HIT already, u did it man! and u did it right! We all waiting.. Imma fly to UK and watch it too yeah!

Hey joe,

I know that everyone other person in the world had a better New Years Eve. My genius self decided that on the 27th of December would be *Great* :) to have my surgery on my back! The only thing I looked forward to counting down to Midnight was my next dose of demerol. LOL, just also have to tell you that when I watched/w commentary NARC you had me laughing just in the couple of minutes by thanking the two art house students that would be listening to it. Just thought I would tell you another favorite movie that I have watched w/comm. was Resident Evil.(yeah pretty far back there, but HIlarious! And just a little inside joke if you have or will see it- yogurt) Anyways. Happy New Year.

Maybe you should propose Faceless to one of the Cable Channels they could handle the "BadAss" Sean Bean. His public needs to have FACELESS aired.

Late to the party, as usual. FOX Putzes indeed. I really hope you get Faceless on air, it would be a refreshing change from all the other crap that ain't even worth clicking the remote for. I'd love to see Faceless on TV, if not anything else then just for all the feminists to get their panties in a bunch over the "outstanding rack" comment...
