I was really surprised that Aces didn't win the weekend. I'm definately going to go see it again. I hope that the word of mouth keeps spreading and it becomes the next" My big fat greek wedding" in a revenue type of sense. Good job Mr. Carnahan and congrats!

I too was also shocked that SA didn't win this weekend. Of course I'm part of the reason (I plan on seeing it wednesday). Most spoof movies come out strong but don't have the lasting power a film like this one has. Good luck and in the event the film is a cult hit I'm glad I'm going to be one of the cultists.

Jesus, you have got some fucking balls, sir. Mixing that level of manic insanity with some very moving performances takes some skill. I have no idea how you made that look good on paper (I'll be checking the script out soon), but I'm glad you made it work. Thanks for an awesome two hours. Loved Narc; dug Blood, Guts; and enjoyed the hell outta' this. I look forward to your next flicks!

This is the best damn movie I've seen in about 10years. Congrats, it's Smokin'.

Epic Movie wasn't so epic after all. Oh, the irony....

Kids sneaking into the film, brilliant. Fucking brilliant. I remember those days. Luckily for me, my father wasn't above taking us to see flicks like Evilspeak or any other R-rated flick us kids wanted to see. He took us to see this one flick with Vic Morrow that was a complete Jaws rip off called Great White. Gotta love the Italian killer shark flicks. Anybody remember that flick? The poster had a buxon blonde on an inflated raft smiling whilest lingering in the shark's mouth. Huh. Anyways...fun, trashy flick.

Question for you, Joe. Do you go check out the flicks that are opening up against your films? Personally if I had to sit through Epic Movie knowing I had Smokin in the auditorium next to me, I would take my pinkies and gouge my eyes out. I would find it unbearable and uncomfortable to subject my brain to such stupidity but then again the last girl I dated left me feeling like my IQ dropped significantly every time I uttered her name. The things we do for "love"....

The numbers will get stronger and word of mouth will spread. Keep up the faith and keep on keeping on, my brother.
