Good stuff so far. You guys are a bunch of creative bastards, aren't you?
Brandon and Shanti are both in favor of the good old fashioned drawing
where I yank random names from the hat of my choice. This seems to be
a solid choice, but I want you cats and kittens to WORK for it!
Hunter and Richard have the notion of re-editing either materials found
on the blog and the official 'Smokin' Aces' site, or re-cutting the trailer. I
like this idea. I would think it could be done without any significant
expense beyond time and it's nicely thematic given all the posters I've put up
on the site. Richard also has the idea of the best one-line competition, which
is also cool.
Let's keep them coming in. I'd like to have a decision of how we want to
conduct this thing by tomorrow and give everybody the weekend to do
their thing, then announce a winner by early next week. Plus it will give me
time to actually seek out permission and the necessary funds to do it!
