Kids:

Unclear what level of secrecy will will be laboring under this evening
but we're closing a big chunk of downtown LA and running wild in
the streets with the new Cadillac CTS. I'm personally hoping they let
me wrap one of these beautiful f*ckers around a pole at some point.
Fast. Fast. FAST...so if you're trying to exit 6th St. from the Harbor
Freeway and you're diverted, just blame yours truly. Paul Cameron and
I have used this wonderful opportunity to hone a look for 'WHITE JAZZ'
that will hope will allow us to shoot a lot of the travelling shots of Klein
(and there's a FEW) in a manner that will save us the cost of having to
dress block after block in period cars, etc. I think it's a fantastic approach.
We'll see what it'll yield after tonight.

If you find yourself downtown this evening, don't hesitate to drop by and
steal some craft service or maybe one of the prototype Caddies laying around.
Security is pretty lax. Might be worth a shot.

Oh...if you spot Michael Vick anywhere in the area...can you have one of your underlings run him down with the caddy? I know...I know...it would a shame to get blood and filth on that beautiful car...but think of how happy you'll make a lot of people and animals.

Would love to be down there ransacking the craft service table, trying to boost one of your picture vehicles, pulling a Copperfield with one of your cameras, angling for a staff position but my script is making the rounds and I sit here eager for the phone to ring.

Hey there, go for broke on that pole...and, ahem, it'd be cool to drop a few technical notes for those so inclined as to the "style" (e.g. camera set up, type, film stock...if any, etc) of the spot AND perhaps your intention for the look of "Jazz".

So of us are interested in the nuts and bolts of it all (and I don't mean twigs and berries).
