Kids:

Some stuff is going on we me professionally right now that will be
resolved in the days to come. I'll tell you all about it when it's blown
over. Suffice it to say it's got me up at odd hours from lack of sleep.
Nothing about WHITE JAZZ or anything like that. That's all locked down.
It's something deep and long standing and it's got me doing
a lot of thinking...

Here's your boy hoisting Oakley's RED Camera, which boasts an impressive
4k ability and resolution the likes of which are seldom seen. Their 2k output
is amazing. I think the biggest push back they're going to get, oddly enough
is from the acting community. To say the image is 'unforgiving' is an understatement.
You can count an actor's pores in a medium shot. It's really incredible. No variable
shutter speeds which make it a little limited but its accessability in terms of cost
and its flexibility (I saw the colorist pull at least three stops, comfortably, out of a
shot without a spot of grain) make it a legit contender to come. I'm going to try to
do something on this system, in Sacramento, with all local talent and money. It would
be great to get back to a six or seven man crew and just go wild. I can't wait.
