BALE 11/25/2007 at 11:08 AM

Guys:

All the rumors flying about Christian Bale being in or out of KP. He's not
going anywhere. I spoke to him over the weekend, we had a nice long
chat. We're both in this thing and will move mountains to that end. He's
always been a huge fan of the project and unless an act of God prevents
it, he's playing the Jacoby role in 'Killing Pablo'

'Nuff said.

JC

Thanks for the clarification, Joe.

Looking forward to more updates.

Take care. :)

C'mon Joe, throw us a bone...is it WJ or KP?

Joe, you check out Rescue Dawn yet?

Bale was great. Zahn, equally impressive. And Davies, someone needs to get the Kool-Aid away from him.

Cool news Mr. Carnahan. Bale has the potential to knock Jacoby out of the park. Anyone catch him in 'I'm Not There'? He flips everything you thought you knew about Christian Bale on it's head. Of course American Psycho and Harsh Times are classics as well. Killing Pablo looks to be the next in a few different peoples lines of good work.

Glad to hear it. Can't wait for more updates.

Great to hear JC. I've said this 1000 times, Bale could very well be the finest actor of his generation. I dare you to find an actor as diverse, talented, and commited as he is.

SM, are you freakin' kidding me? Harsh Times a classic? That movie was horrific and so was Bale's performance. I am not hatin' or anything of the sort. I actually think Bale is a good actor and think he will do fine in KP. But Harsh Times was just plain ole' bad. David Ayer sucks, period.

Im with act3, HARSH TIMES was horrendous, and Bale was badly overacting. I think he has talent, certainly committment, but most times i SEE him working it. I am very aware of his posturing. But then again movie star acting seems to be what people respond to today. Very little spontonaiety , or behavioral transitions.
As for talented actors with range how about Sean Penn? How about Jason Patric?

Joe - no word on lead? For some reason, I see Penn tearing up this role with what would go down as one of the most unforgettable performances! Possibly there's the age aspect - I don't know if that's a deterent or not and I know part of getting it made is attaching the lead, so you could "have" to go with who's going to "get" it made, but Penn & Bale (damn!)...

Peace,

JW

Joe, Why don't you put Christian Bale in White jazz and go make that one in the mean time? He would kick ass as Klein and that film will rule the world. Just a thought, bro.
