MAYWEATHER - HATTON and CADILLAC 12/01/2007 at 12:45 PM

Guys:

Trying to score tickets to this fight is like trying to scalp front row for the second
coming. It sold out in less than five minutes.

I am much more than just a casual fan of the sweet science so as what is
arguably the greatest match-up in the last twenty years, looms a week away,
I am literally counting the hours. This fight will no doubt be one for the ages.
And I'm hoping Ricky Hatton knocks Floyd Mayweather right the f*ck out. That
guy needs his chin checked in a life altering way. How fate hasn't reached out
and ripped him one by now, is beyond me but he has never faced anybody with
Hatton's skill and desire. I can't take anything away from him though. Mayweather
is an amazing fighter with freakish skills.

Whoever comes out the other end of this fight will be the pound for pound best
fighter on the planet.

One week away guys. Can't wait.

BTW, shooting downtown tonight. Base camp for Caddy is right under lower grand
for those of you familiar with the area. If you want to come down, the password will
be 'Little Donny Perriwinkle' anybody comes down and drops that name, will come in
and sit at the monitor with me and abuse craft service and catering at their leisure.

JC

When are you going to come shoot something in Seattle so I can pretend to be cool and come hang out?

Joe - you sure you don't want to shoot in Sac.? We've definitely got the wanna-be downtown with the famous yellow bridge, (ahahahah) the FBI building (and half of the other buildings) that look like they haven't been renovated since the 70s (most haven't) - mix in a little "modernism" with the US Bank building (scratch The Towers, so you got some sand dunes and a blank parking lot with what was supposed to be the Aura Condos - WTF was that? A $500,000 view of what? The f.ckin' Greyhound station and the crack-fiend motel?).

Alright, maybe NY will do... :)

Enjoy,

JW

Haha, good luck with the commercial. Mayweather fight should be insane.

Wish I had seen the message about downtown a little earlier, I might have actually stopped by.

As far as Mayweather goes, I used to hate the guy as much as anybody else (My favorite fighter in the world is/was Chico Corrales and he was undefeated when Mayweather daunted/drubbed him in brutal fashion) but I am afraid that Hatton is just too one dimensional to get the job done. My feeling is that this is going to look more like the Mayweather/Gatti fight then it will the Mayweather/Castillo one... Maybe your guy will pull it out though.

Hope things went well out there tonight JC.

Same request as Mike and Mia: will come to France to shot something one day? You have a bunch of fans over here, you know that ^^^

BTW, can soemone explain me the password please: 'Little Donny Perriwinkle'? I don't get it, sorry :(

About the fight, I've heard good things about Mayweather... Looks like any of you like him.

Watching shoots is a huge guilty pleasure of mine. I'd totally be there if I was around.

I skipped an entire week of high school to watch Gore Verbinski shoot "The Weatherman" at the local mall. Got to shoot the shit with him a few times, he was totally humble.

Also made it out to downtown Chicago that summer a dozen or so times to watch "Batman Begins" shoot. Filming was very late at night, so they had the entire downtown area to themselves. It was awesome. Yes, I'm a big lame.

I'll join in--If you were shooting in Cleveland last nite, you would have had a lovely sleet for solid hours. Don't you love a challenge!?
If the armpit of the nation is good 'nuff for Spiderman, then it's good 'nuff for "little Donny Periwinkel," I say.; come here sometime.
Let us know who made it there to see the shoot!

Hatton is going to kick Mayweather's arse!

Joe, did you actually get tickets, or are you still looking?
