ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY 12/04/2007 at 11:21 PM

Guys:

It's officially one year today that I've been maintaining this blog.

254 entries and counting.

Don't know if I can keep it up but I want to thank the folks at Universal
for paying for the space that allows me to bitch and blather and bluster
and bemoan ad infinitum.

I'm certain they stopped reading this blog months ago. That's the only
logical explanation for the plug not being pulled by now.

I will continue to post as long as you fair folks will have me. It's not always
entertaining or enlightening but it's as honest as I can make it and it's as
pretense free as possible.

Glad you guys have come along for the ride. We've had some fun. Now let's
keep cranking.

We'll keep reading as long as you keep writing.

I've only been around for about 10% but I hope you keep it up.

Joe,

Keep going.

Cheers for all the fun times.

Thank you very much Joe for this blog and taking the time to let us know about 'stuff' you did, you do and will do.

Maybe you read some of my comments, I already said it several times, but there are plenty of blogs on the Internet and I only read two of them because I appreciate the sincerity and the interest you have for your readers.

And I'm not kissing your ass as some troll may think, I've always said what I wanted on this place, and I sometimes (often?) had a different point of view. Everybody respected that, excepted for my sense of humour that can be confusing sometimes, sorry for that ;)

Anyway, your post gives me the opportunity to thank you, so I take this opportunity and I thank you. You're right when you say it's not always entertaining or enlightening (grin) but it's honest and that's what is important to me and to many others I guess.

One more thing: maybe you could make this blog a little bit more interactive by answering some of our questions. I know you're very busy but sometimes we ask questions and they never get any answers. As an example, Max Dana does it on her blog, not everytime but it happens. She also gives access to some of her work for the regulars. This is the only 'improvement' I'd like to see on this blog :)

Long life to this blog, to you Joe and to everyone in this place, the SJCC ^^^

Congratulations Joe, and congratulations to all the old-timers who've been here through thick and thin. It's amazing it's been a year already. Hope we'll get another and more. Looking forward to more news, tales, and opinions.

Joe, always a pleasure to see a new post from you pop up in my feed reader. Keep 'em coming as long as you can.

Though I only discovered you here a few months ago, I agree. I have a cup of coffee in the morning and see what is new on this blog.
Nothin says 'Good Morning' like your bitching, balthering, blustering, and bemoaning comments on the major suckage out there on the west coast. Even better though, is an entry like yesterday's 'A Letter' or when things like holding on to Bale happen. The good, exciting things that we 'kids' can vicariously enjoy.
Always entertaining, but more than that.
Thanks and please keep it up if you can!

CONGRATS. One year and still Smokin. Actually more like steaming, as in a pile of- And in the spirit of the honesty you so rawly defend, i will post yet again in the face of your deletions-

EXTRA ! EXTRA ! READ ALL ABOUT IT!
MEL GIBSON TURNS DOWN "WHITE JAZZ"
Well ladies and gents, since Joey won't share it, and prefers to to run decoy news filled with Cadillac updates and rehashed strike news, it's up to the dedicated insiders to set the record straight.
Mel joins a LONG list of other luminaries such as Harrison Ford, Tom "incredible work ethic" Cruise, Reese Witherspoon, George Clooney, and Javier Bardem , who have all been involved with Master Carnahan, but after up close up knowledge of what's really behind the bluster, all said , "ADIOS". Coincidence becomes pattern, pattern becomes fact, fact becomes state.
Speaking of state, Brad Pitt justed pulled out of STATE OF PLAY, literally days before filming was to begin.OFFICIAL reason cited- script problems. Script writer, Matthew Carnahan. Joe, try not to let your karma and bedside manner rub off on your brother. That's the last thing he needs after THE KINGDOM and LIONS FOR LAMBS tanked.
If it wasn't for Caddy , it would be a coal in your stocking Christmas for the Carnaclan.
Therapy time, not too late to change your ways.
