Kids:

Holy Sh*t did they absolutely knock the Staples crowd dead last night. Any
doubts I may have had about how they would sound, what Dave's voice
would be like, what Eddie's playing would be like, if Alex could still bang the
kit, would Michael Anthony be missed, etc. were destroyed within the first
five minutes of their set. Both Eddie and Dave look fantastic and sound as
good as they did when they stopped doing it twenty-two years ago.

Alex positively RIPPED the kit and the kid Wolfgang can play his ass off, proving
that talent that deep has got to be hereditary. I haven't seen a show that sensational
in years. God Bless the forces that put that group back together. Last night is what
Rock music is all about.

That's great to hear! Nothing against Sammy Hagar, but they just haven't been the same since Dave left. How wonderful to know that the magic is still there. :)

Joe, What about David Lee for Kelin in WJ? Maybe Eddie V as Pablo? Couldnt be any worse than Joaquin or Cruise. Youre reaching now anyway

Joe, the Van Halen concert may have been an early gift to yourself but make sure you get your mittens on the Blade Runner 25th anniversary briefcase tomorrow. It’s been awhile since I have longed to view the contents of a silver briefcase. Sorry, I don’t think it comes temperature regulated at 98.5 degrees Fahrenheit.
