PS Joe, announcements forthcoming?

Jeeze, no kidding. Man, it's like, unless this blog contains nothing more than exactly which page JC is on with his latest screenplay, or which actor has jumped aboard his latest project in the last three seconds...folks lose it.

I, for one, really love movies, and am in love with film...I also quite enjoy JC's work, both behind the camera and on the written page (I also get a kick out of his TV commercials), but, there are a plethora of other subjects that interest me and affect my life beyond the afore mentioned points, and since I count myself as an artist, those subjects affect my work, as I'm sure they do JC's...and I find it quite refreshing that he takes the time to share those willingly, just for the sake of being open.

Movies, Politics, Sports, Family...it's called life. We all have one (well, maybe the non-trolls more than others) and I enjoy the occasional interaction between folks that this blog affords that wouldn't normally get to interact otherwise, on these ranging subjects.

So, bravo to those of us who embrace the coolness (is that a word) that this blog has, and hopefully will continue to be. I appreciate all of JC's insights and his openness about the process of film making and the journey he's been on. As I've said in other posts, it continues to give me inspiration to continue on my path as a story teller, and...for lack of a better way to say it...feels good to every once and a while feel like I speak to a working Hollywood director (Hey, I never said I was above the celebrity factor, I'm only human)

It's an amazing amount of blatant disrespect.

I didn't get to see the birth announcement until after all the random negative whatnot, and by then, I didn't really feel like leaving my own comment.

Mostly because I was really confused on how it all started.

I agree, it was tacky, and would like to apologize for responding to the posts by the Idiot attacking me, I should have done what others have, and basically ignore them, but I guess I was more concerned with defending myself than realizing what was being thrown out verbally was being down on the tread about a newborn baby coming into this world, and simply was not the place to be spewing hatred from people.

I do think, as I mentioned before, that perhaps Joe you can have someone restructure this forum so it requires a log-in and everyone has a unique member name (perhaps keeping what we currently have) and assign someone to be a moderator or site administrator who could remove posts at will and perhaps ban people if they get out of control. I guess you could say it would be like a semi informal fan club with one person helping keep the boards clean.

I would volunteer for this position, perhaps being the forum moderator, and no people I wouldn't go removing posts that bashed Republicans. LOL! Just something to consider Joe.
