OBAMA - McCAIN 01/26/2008 at 11:16 PM

Kids:

If we can engineer that one, it's a marquee draw and potentially
undoes twenty plus years of voter indifference and electoral erosion.
We would have Democrats voting Republican and Republicans voting
Democrat.

Obama blowng out South Carolina and McCain's two fairly decisive
wins gives me great hope.

It's a very precious point for Obama on his way to the White House. I hope it will keep on this way ^^^

McCain isn't a Republican, he is a merely a Democrat disguised as one. Most Republicans do not want McCain anywhere near the White House. That is why the Democrats are so strong in supporting him, because they are hoping Republicans stay away from the voting booth IF he is the nominee. Anyone can see this tactic with half a brain, Democrats want McCain as the nominee just like Republicans want someone like Edwards winning the nominee.

Come on Obama!

I haven't got anything against either of them, but it will take more than that to banish indifference. I've been indifferent ever since Gore won the popular vote but lost the election in 2000. Living in a state that always goes Republican, the popular vote tally was all I had to look forward to at the end of the day -- and then they had to go and take that away too. :P

Definitely shaping up to be a Bulls v. Cavaliers, seventh game of the series matchup. Of course, we already know Jordan sinks the shot from the free throw line. Who that turns out to be here is anyone's guess.

At this moment in time I'm extremely surprised that no one has pulled out the "scandal card." "Obama fathered illegitimate child during his 'smugglin' days in Chicago." Or, "Hillary gave "b.j.s" to members of Congress to turn a vote." (oh, the irony) "McCain looks like sh.t because of visiting overseas brothels one too many times."

Someone is sitting on the Ace of Diamonds here or the deck is all played out. Either way, it should be interesting...

Peace,

JW

Past vs Future

I vote for the future!

Speaking of future and the past, yesterday marks a year since Smokin' Aces premiered and since I proposed to my lovely lady moments after we watched the movie. So, I'd like to thank Joe for Smokin' Aces, Bria for saying "of course" (yes) and all those who continue to make SJC a really cool place to visit!!!

Oh, and for those who are interested, here's the invitation:

(the proposal is also online, but you'll have to search the SJC archives for that one...hint: it was during the Smokin' Aces swag giveaway)

Thanks again Joe, and all the rest of the SJC crew!

Obama vs. Mccain would be an extremely cool presidential race.
I think there would be a lot more cross-party voting.
That would definitely be a race I'd like to see.

Jeffrey you mean the scandal card like when the democrats said if you vote for a republican, more black churches will burn down during the last election? Or trying to convince the senior citizens that if you vote republican, all of their benefits will be cut the day they take off? Come on Jeff, democrats love making bullshit like that up, and when they get caught, they try and deny anything was ever said, or if they get a dose of their own medicine, they cry fowl or "Not fair!". It is so one-sided, its pathetic.

Man why are we back to talking about politics again? We were having somewhat meaningful conversations and then Joe comes along and posts his thoughts on politics (again) and that steers us all away. Come on Joe, how about posting a progress report on what is going on with KP, etc.
