Seriously, as of this writing 12:35am EST, it looks like CA isn't going Obama's way. What is striking to me is how many people don't call Hillary on several key "character" issues that are glaring obvious to me.
First, she's from Arkansas, so how the heck does she end up a Senator from NY? (being a New Yorker that rubs me as raw as NY football teams playing in Jersey) It's an obvious ploy for her political ambitions. And nothing against political ambition, but I think they need to be coupled with a person's desire to do good for the people...and so, why weren't the good people of Arkansas good enough for her? Can you imagine if Barak up and left IL to become a Senator in CA a few years before making his presidential bid?
Second, her tenure in the White House is touted as a crusade for universal health care...and as valiantly as she tried, she failed. Now she says, "Have faith in me because I know what I did wrong then."? And magically she switches from advocating a universal health care plan to advocating a universal health insurance plan...after receiving almost half a million dollars from health care lobbyists.
And lastly (and I know I'm riding the edge here), but her husband gets his d*ck sucked in the Oval Office while playing hide the cigar, lies to her and the American public, and she stays with him!?!?! I know if my spouse was s*cking anyone's d*ck but mine, regardless of how many "years" we were together...it's over. The trust is gone, their character shot, and our partnership is destroyed. Yet people praise her for her steadfastness in salvaging her marriage? Be honest folks, if anyone's best friend had their spouse do the same thing, you'd be telling them to cut that spouse loose, "Girl/Man, they're not worth it, there are plenty of other folks out there that'll be true to you and not abuse your trust!" is how the phone convo would likely go. To me, either she's a habitual doormat with the inability to judge a person's character, or her political ambition is so great, she'll overlook such an egregious violation of martial trust. And either way, I don't feel those are the qualities of someone I want in the most powerful and influential office in the world.

Now, I'm not naive enough to think anyone is clean in the political game...but I'd like to pick the least dirty, most character filled individual out there. There may be a few (on both sides of the race) that can fit the bill...but I don't feel Mrs Clinton fits that role.

I have to mention a couple of things and forgive me if I am wrong on the first thing. Isn't it some unwritten rule or a given to those in the know (I am not so I am asking) that in politics one sets out to become the Senator of New York because the next possible step is a Presidential campaign? At least that is I was told years ago and when she went to New York, I was expecting this exact course she is now on. My bad if I was misinformed even worse is that's been my understanding for years!
I can't get too much more into it only because I lack time but a Doormat, not even close, c'mon? There is not one wave of that vibe coming off her entire being?Are you watching and listening to her? Nope, I do not get that one.
There is one thing I know for fact, there are emotional/ personal relationships and then there is business and esp when you are not talking about art which then is personal business, real business.
Some people CAN and do separate the two, business is just not personal. Love is no where in that equation, if it does it gets tricky not a newsflash but it is still not mean that the two cross over or can not coexist depending on so much and it's not applicable here.
So to say she gets walked on by her husband? One thing I am sure is undebatable, nobody knows but the two of them what in the hell is going on behind closed doors or their history and THAT is exactly as it should be! Even though it's a fantasy.
No way will that ever be available to anyone in public office or anyone famous and yet the thing that blows me out is that EVERYONE has opinions that instantly become facts and there is nobody that knows all of the story but the two of them or one of them!
So, I am not saying I'd know what I would do in that case because nobody I have ever even met has been in anything that close, I don't even know anyone in the city council personally! In other words I am never going to pass judgment on something that HUGE with HUGE ramifications I am not qualified and I don't know a soul who is, it's silly and unfair.
I know nobody is into being fair and the next thing I'd hear is "LIFE IS UNFAIR.".DUH, but people CAN be and just are not. It's a choice and THAT is what truly bothers me, where we are headed as human beings?
Mistakes, hopefully we make some or we aren't living right. It's what you do afterwards. What she did?
She didn't bash his head in when the nation was able to know it, send the nation into even more of a tailspin since the cigar was talked about forever imagine if she showed emotion in either direction...more scandal to add to the insanity to keep that insane spin spinning. I am not saying that why she stayed but again who in the hell knows?
I do know that they have a good kid and mother went postal on dad, that child would take her cues from there and that IS wrong and that IS NOT what happened. NOR DID SHE CRY and that is amazing!
I am sorry, THAT was personal with loads of emotional pain, stress and whatever else... yet we never once saw it and we also did not see some FAKEASS show of support when the family went out for the first time together walking out on the Front Lawn. She wasn't hugging and smiling and she was not wearing a big red diamond ring to wipe the slate clean! Oh yea that works, Lord!
WHY? Well it's called real, to me, that's what I see. When I read or hear of any moron calling her " NH crying" a stunt? STOP THE FRIGGIN MADNESS if you buy that illogical nonsense.
Oh yes, she's been studying at Stella Adler's for years we all never knew! The thoughtful photographers cut her a break and didn't follow! So, she morphed into Meryl Streep back then and that's why she didn't throw and uppercut to the solars during that Front Lawn stroll or cry in front of everyone for that photo op! All because she was such a brilliant performer.
If so, she could've began with the pity party invitations in her honor! If she was so calculating and without dignity she would have started right then on her road to her true dream, becoming Prez someday! The one thing that I think is true in that ridiculous written blabfest above? In my opinion, her desire to be Prez.
The rest of this stupid crap I have read for days, is disturbing, boring, hateful and none of it or all is true and none of us will know and it does not tip us all off to her performance as a President!
Isn't that decision left up to historians for every President? Even during the years they are in office we can not tell what their impact is going to be, no way to know but in hindsight and by that time they are taking walks with their canes with great grandkids!
So, we go with what actually matters. If her husband cheats and she stays, what, it means? Hitler would get her sympathy for being misunderstood and she's going to let him out of the clink?
JFK hooked up with whoever and he didn't suck as a President and Jackie helped a country in horrid mourning have some hope by the way she handled that funeral...not pressing the panic, pity button but with her strength and grace under what she had to have been feeling.... misery and grief, I assume. We worshipped her for that and for the great mom she was at least from the stories I hear ! AND NEVER not once was she called or was a damn doormat.
